As a result of this consultation, you will receive an initial estimate, which acts as a preliminary assessment. It should be noted that if no additional damages are discovered during the restoration process and you do not alter or deviate from your original vision, this initial estimate will guide the project. However, last-minute changes are not uncommon in these types of projects and may incur additional costs.
Step 2: The Body Work
To ensure immaculate restoration, our skilled bodyman technician will perform the necessary repairs, addressing any collision damage, panel straightening, rust elimination, and more. Throughout this stage, we kindly request your patience as we prioritize attention to detail. In some cases, we may need to order rare or out-of-production parts, and occasionally, we may need to fabricate them ourselves. Our ultimate goal is to ensure that all panels align perfectly, creating seamless lines and preparing your car for the subsequent paint job.
Step 3: The Paint Job
We always emphasize the importance of securing a professional body repair job prior to proceeding with painting. It is a common misconception that a flawless paint job can magically cover any imperfections resulting from crooked lines, uneven panels, ill-fitting parts, or other errors. Bondo, a filler used in the automotive industry, has its limits and cannot rectify major bodywork issues. Thus, it is crucial to prioritize professional body repair to guarantee a superior paint job.
The luxury car paint job commences with meticulous application of bondo and extensive sanding. Our team takes their time, using the appropriate materials and ensuring everything is done right the first time. The GOOD NEWS is that we now offer the West Coast Body and Paint mobile paint repair service. Our mobile unit is equipped to handle minor body and paint repairs, and we will gladly come to you.
Our estimates are provided free of charge. Once we receive images of your vehicle, we will promptly offer you an initial estimate. However, please note that this estimate serves as a rough approximation. After conducting an in-person assessment of the damage, we will review the estimate with you.
